ENV(itre) is Miroslaw Majewski. He was born in 1980 in Kattowice, Poland and moved to Eschwege, Germany in 1987.

As a child he was fascinated by the 8bit sounds of the Atari. He was drawn into the world of electronic music and began creating his own tracks in 1997, compiled entirely from edited sampled sounds. Since then he has worked continuously on improving the knowledge and skills required to produce his distinctive sound, a development which he says is far from being complete.

ENV(itre) has several solo releases on tonatom.net, Crazy language, Boltfish, Elpa and Envizagae (His own label)
and released his debut CD album on Aphorism Records in 2003. He has also appeared on compilations on Neo Ouija, Databloem and Sutemos. His remix of Metamaticsí ëBlue Moon Risingí was included on ëRewired In My Manorí (Hydrogen Dukebox) and Lacklusterís remix of his track ëNighthikerí was released on ëRemixSelection_Oneí (Psychonavigation).
