With her new album "I am not Kind" Jessica Kert invites you to come on a journey with her, a journey where you leave beaten paths - recorded with the Buchla System 200e in a single night of isolation, like a dream you can't or refuse to leave behind.

On the way you encounter repetitive rhythms, unknown soundscapes and a lot of the surreal. You wander through electric jungles and living cities, striving for peace and trust together.

The album creates a world in which the repetitive offers many possibilities to hold on to, a world that, drags and entraps the listener with its barely tangible silhouettes.

Many tracks on this album lure you in with supposedly familiar sounds and gentle but definite patterns, only to never let you go again when you feel captivated by deep elements. You are reminded of past club visits, but something is different - the world has changed. Over and over again a supposedly harmonious equilibrium is tipped out of balance to arrive in a new stability in the next moment - always with the certainty that it will end up good.
