ekke’s debut album “Chasm” out now. “Chasm” is full of glitchy insect like micro beats, bass drum, dark drones and nostalgic analogue synth sounds. I took extra attention on textures and sound design- most of the sounds are from modular synth, where no preexisting preset exist. There are also many found objects like lemonade bottles, children’s spinner, music box and other surprises. I’m not concentrating on telling any story, but rather enjoy these sounds as they are.

I'm a sound designer, composer and improviser on a modular synthesizer. Almost everything I do is related to sound. In my compositions I like to use sound objects, field recordings, and modular synths so I could have my own unique sounds.

I studied sound design for movies in Baltic Film- and Television School and electroacoustic composition in Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre

I'm located in Tallinn, Estonia.
