From the ruins of the birthplace of Techno, Detroit Underground proudly presents their 7th release in the ongoing compilation series. Featuring DU alumnus and Sh*tkatapult recording artist Phon.o and Kitty-Yo recording artist Litwinenko (aka Preed), this new 12' again reaffirms Detroit Underground's love of all things squashed, crunchy and genre-defying. Sick twelve, play loud!

Since leaving his homeland Austria, where he founded a Jazz/Funk band and often DJ'd, Litwinenko began the German phase of his career in Berlin in 1998. Litwinenko was discovered by Kitty-yo and released records under the name 'Preed'. His first singles were on Timing Recordings and Kitty-yo, both Berlin labels. Tracks on Data Error, Modul 8, Tüftler, Musicpark and various Kitty-yo compilations followed. In 2007 he released a split-EP with Shitkatapult´s Phon.o on the Detroit based label Detroit Underground.

DE:BUG REVIEW:
EInfach laut und dicht, drückend, immer nach vorne rein und nach hinten nicht mal Rauch zurücklassend. Phon.o und Litwienko ergänzen sich nahezu perfekt auf dieser EP, schmeißen sich gegenzeitig die zerrenden Bleeps zu, introducen das Mentasm-Orchestra und habem vor allem die Beats komplett im Griff. Alles wirbelt nur so durch die Gegend und zum ersten mal in meinem Leben fühlt sich Dreck im Mund wirklich gut an. Breit geklonkt sind die vier Tracks viel zu schnell vorbei und werden nur noch von Endlos-Grooves aufgehalten. Ich tippe auf Maschinengewehre mit 909-Aufklebern im Anschlag.
