D Minor is a selection of tracks made over the span of five years and in a number of homes. These four tracks stood out as a cohesive set that I held onto as inspiration going forward. Despite my recent work with Windsor vocalist Kevin Echlin, I have remained interested foremost in creating atmosphere without the suggestions that vocals imply. I list producer Nigel Godrich and the ambient works of Aphex Twin, Brian Eno, and Boards of Canada as major sources of inspiration, especially for my earliest songs. This is my first release on Detroit Underground and the corresponding remixes take the songs further into different directions.
